The Levels of Ecology
This disaster affected many levels of ecology. The main ones are: Community, Ecosystem, Biome, and Biosphere. It affected communities and ecosystems by wiping out species that played an important part in the ecosystem, as well as moving substrate. Since the earthquake started in the Ocean and it's vibrations were felt on land in both desert and tropical areas, biomes were affected together. The biosphere as a whole was affected by the repercussions of the events, like decreased exports of Tin, rubber and textiles.
